"Realise deeply that the present moment is all you ever have." - Ekhart Tolle
Nicole is a dedicated student and teacher of yoga. She grew up as a competitive athlete and has always been interested in mind-body connection. After falling in and out of various levels of burnout, Nicole began practicing yoga in her early twenties in a bid to soothe an overwhelmed mind and body. Meditation is a main interest for Nicole in particular, breaking the habits that keep us stuck.
Nicole’s teaching style is layered with techniques of self-nurturing. Her classes invite you to get to know yourself on a deeper level through the use of movement and meditation. You can expect to receive gentle guidance that gives you space to feel the gravity of your own body and to begin making conscious choices about how you move on and off your mat.

My signature move
Mindfulness. Reminding you to connect with your surroundings, your body and your breath. I also like the feeling of trikonasana (triangle pose) and arda chandrasana (half moon) and how they command you to take up space on your mat with confidence and poise.

Something on my bucket list
One day I'd like to build a chair that I can sit in the sun and read a book or paint in the window, rocking on its sturdy back legs every now and then. Or perhaps swim in the warm waters of the Seychelles and forget that there is a clock that holds on tightly to commitment. Ether of those sound like a good time to me.
