Here’s some handy advice for your first trip to see us at Xtend Barre:
Arrive 20 minutes early.
Grip socks are required. You can bring your own or we have some for purchase.
Bring a towel and water bottle.
We have lockers, changing rooms, and restrooms available for your use.
Entry into class is not permitted 5 minutes after the start of class.
Let your instructor know if you have any injuries or are pregnant. They are happy to help with
modifications throughout class.
If you need to change your class, be sure to do so at least within the cancellation period.
Xtend Barre Lane Cove will offer something on the timetable for everyone and every body, you can join multi–level, safe, fun and extremely effective fitness classes under the eyes of expert trainers who work with you on your individual goals.
Programs will include Xtend Barre, Xtend Stick, Xtend Sweat and Xtend Stretch.
Nicole has been in the health and fitness industry for over 14 years. She shows her passion not just with her work ethic but with building relationships with members, being hands on and delivering a high quality service. She loves everything Xtend Barre has to offer and the quality and dedication behind the workouts. Lane Cove is our first of 5 studios to open, and we can’t wait to take Xtend Barre to a whole new level!
Amelia has always had a passion for health and fitness. She has always loved the amazing benefits that come with Pilates so when she discovered Xtend barre and its perfection combination of a high intensity workout and pilates principles she became addicted! Amelia loves her classes to be the time you forget about work/ life stresses and will always make sure you leave sweaty and smiling!
Amelia begun dancing at the age of 3, and studied Ballet (RAD), Contemporary and Jazz (ADA) up until her late teens. Amelia was introduced to pilates alongside her ballet training and ever since, always knew she wanted to become an instructor one day.
Having completed a Bachelor of Nutrition Science at the University of Wollongong, Amelia is passionate about nutrition, health and wellness and loves being able to inspire others to live a healthy and balanced life.
Amelia loves instructing Xtend Barre as she is able to combine her dance background and love of pilates to achieve a full body workout!

Dominique’s strong passion for dance and performance began at an early age training in many styles including classical ballet, hip-hop, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary and more. Through this dedication and passion for dance she discovered a love for teaching as well as health and fitness. Her love for this grew rapidly as she explored many classes such as yoga, pilates and then, Xtend Barre.
Dominique found that Xtend Barre was the perfect workout for her; an intense full body workout that combines pilates, dance and cardio fitness whilst helping sculpt, lengthen and strengthen all muscle groups. Dominique is thrilled to join the team and hopes to empower her clients in a supportive environment to be their best self!
Emily is a professional dancer and music theatre performer, trained in ballet and jazz from a young age. In 2017 she completed her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts and since then has been doing shows around Sydney and teaching kids to dance. She instantly fell in love with the workouts that combine pilates with cardio so you get the ultimate workout in just one class.
Emily believes that Xtend Barre is the perfect workout for anyone from dancers to people just starting an exercise regime.
Hannah is a contemporary dancer having trained at California State University in Los Angeles and Trisha Browne’s Dance Company in New York. Hannah holds a BA in Performing Arts from the University of Limerick and a Postgraduate Degree from the Copenhagen Contemporary Dance College.
Pilates, yoga and other somatic practices were an integral part of Hannah’s dance training and after experiencing the positive impact these methods had on her strength, posture and flexibility at an early age she was keen to develop her skills further. She took further training during her travels in New York, Los Angeles and Denmark and is a certified pilates (mat and reformer) barre, yogalates and youth yoga instructor.
She loves the Xtend Barre workout for keeping her fitness level high and incorporating her two passions -pilates and dance. She is so excited to be an instructor for a method which she is so passionate about in an environment that is fun and inclusive.
Lauren has been performing from the tender age of two and has studied and performed with the Sydney City Youth Ballet, National Institute of Dramatic Art, Australian Institute for Performing Arts in Sydney, Atlantic Theatre Company in Los Angeles and graduated with a Certificate IV in Music Theatre at the AFTT.
Lauren has performed in various professional productions such as The Nutcracker, Fame, Hairspray, Annie and The Great Gatsby. Lauren has also had the pleasure of fulfilling her childhood dream of working and performing with The Walt Disney Company at the Disneyland Resort, California.
After discovering Xtend Barre during her time in Los Angeles, Lauren returns home to pursue her new found love for teaching everything Xtend Barre has to offer. Being classically trained and having taught ballet over the years, Lauren was drawn to Xtend Barre’s technique and the foundation it provides for any level. Most importantly, Lauren loves the fact that you can go into a class and be constantly challenging yourself, feeling those muscles shake throughout and leave with a well energised mind and body.
After 16 years of training in dance & singing, Monique completed a full-time Diploma in Performing Arts at ED5 International and has a CERT IV in Pilates Instructing (Mat & Reformer).
She lived in Japan for a year performing at Universal Studios Osaka & currently works in many aspects of the professional performing industry in Australia while also teaching dance & singing to young students.
Her passion for movement was enlightened when she first experienced Xtend Barre. She fell in love with the fusion of pilates & dance workout and what it achieved for such a wide range of bodies.
She can’t wait to open up this wonderful workout of Xtend Barre to the people of Lane Cove & help them to achieve their goals!
Veronica is an eclectic dancer who has been training in RAD ballet, jazz, musical theatre, Hip Hop, tap, acrobatics and contemporary since the age of 5. Whilst training with Industry leaders; Matt Lee, Jackie Howard and Cameron Mitchell, Veronica quickly became a professional dancer by the age of 10 performing on the Mornings with Kerri Anne show, So You Think You Can Dance Australia and starred as Lorraine Horn in the film, ‘Razzle Dazzle, A Journey Into Dance’.
After graduating from Newtown High School of Performing Arts and Brent Street Studios, Veronica’s passion for dance and helping people thrived where she spent 7 years teaching whilst completing her Bachelor of Commerce Major Finance from Macquarie University. Whilst studying, Veronica was granted the honour to perform for the former Governor of NSW Marie Bashir and Vice Chancellor of Macquarie University Bruce Dowton.
After her first class at Xtend Barre, Veronica was ecstatic to finally find a fitness class which combined, the discipline and strength of dance movement and universal movement. Immediately, she applied to become an instructor as she wanted to add value with her extensive training, business experience and passion for helping people.
Veronica’s vivacious and versatile style floods her movement and can’t wait to meet you at the Barre, as she believes it provides not only an escape that makes you feel alive, but feeds your body with self-love and care that makes you strong.
