Kelicia was born and bred in Cairns, Australia but has spent the past 7 years performing and working abroad. As a child Kelicia dreamed of being a Showgirl and her dreams came true when she moved to Paris and spent 4 years performing at both the Lido and Moulin Rouge. Dancing wear and tear from performing 2 shows a night, 6 days a week led her to her to her first Pilates class. When she eventually discovered Xtend Barre, it was love at first ‘plié’ and she instantly became obsessed. The results Kelicia saw (and others noticed) even after a few classes were astounding and she began taking class wherever she could find a studio. Kelicia recently relocated back to her hometown and was discussing her love for Xtend with a friend. “It’s a shame we don’t have a studio in Cairns” her friend said and the light bulb went off! Kelicia is extremely excited to bring the first premier Boutique Barre Studio to Far North Queensland. She cannot wait to share her love and passion for Xtend with others.

Danielle was born and bred in Cairns where her passion for dance began at age 3 with training in classical ballet, jazz and tap. Danielle furthered her dance training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City where she performed in Legally Blonde the Musical. She fell in love with Xtend Barre at the Cairns studio in 2015 and can’t get enough of the variety of each class and how it targets every muscle in the body.
With a Bachelor majoring in Psychology, Danielle believes in a holistic approach to wellbeing and cannot imagine a more creative, challenging and fun way to exercise than an Xtend Barre class.
Dani’s love for dance began at the young age of 8 where she commenced dancing for Taren Point Dance Quarters in South Sydney. Dani danced her way through the Ballet Australasia LTD Syllabus as an Honours Student, but unfortunately before she could complete all exams to allow her dream of a teaching career, she severely injured her back at school attending her school sport dance class.
Dani was introduced to Pilates as a form of rehabilitation for her back injury, and it was here her journey as a Pilates instructor would begin. Dani went on to complete the internationally recognised STOTT Pilates Comprehensive Matwork Instructor qualification along with the STOTT Pilates Injury & Special Populations Instructor qualification.
“Xtend Barre has allowed me to combine my Pilates training and love of Dance to achieve a safe and effective exercise regime. As an instructor I am passionate and dedicated to guiding others towards that same aim.”
