My love of dance and movement started from 3 years old and continued into years of training in classical ballet. After finishing at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2011, I started my Nutrition degree at university. I first discovered Xtend Barre earlier in 2015 and was immediately hooked. In 2016 I started my certificate in mat pilates with Polestar Pilates, to continue my knowledge and provide Xtend Barre clients with the best possible work out and enable them to reach their goals. I have found a workout that has combined both my passions of dance and fitness and cannot wait to share it with all who attend my classes!
Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Distinctions) in Dance Performance, Perth-born Isla is also a fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance ballet teacher. Previously a Perth Glory A-league Cheerleader, she has performed in many corporate shows and independant contemporary dance works around Perth and Brisbane. She has toured China, performing in the Beijing International Dance Festival, and has also worked as a dancer for the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.
Isla did her first Xtend class back in 2012, when recovering from injury. She loved the workout so much that she eventually became an instructor, teaching at various studios around Brisbane.
Isla has just completed a five month contemporary dance training course in Israel. “Xtend has been the perfect workout to compliment my dancing and to support my physical and mental health,” she says. “I love being able to share with clients my love of dancing and moving, and my belief in a healthy and active lifestyle.”
Dancer by night and Xtend Barre Instructor by day, Hannah has been a lover of all things dance from the moment she could walk! Born & raised in Perth, Hannah has performed and practised multiple styles of dance, particularly jazz, contemporary, ballet & tap. Hannah completed her Bachelor of contemporary Art & Fashion in 2012 and opened her own retail business later that year. After closing her business, Hannah began performing part time and was reminded how important dance, movement & fitness was to her.
Hannah was actually introduced to Xtend Barre by her mother in law. It was ‘love at first class!’ The energy in an Xtend Barre class and studio is contagious, says Hannah. From Plies to planks, Hannah loves working up a sweat with her clients. Whether your a student or mother, Hannah believes anyone can become an Xtend Barre addict! Meet her at the Barre soon!
Sarah’s unwavering passion for her yoga practice on and off the mat has granted her endless opportunities for self-observation, spiritual development and personal growth.
What draws Sarah to yoga the most is applying traditional philosophy to modern day life. She aspires to help people transcend the peace they find on the mat into their daily lives, to foster inner strength to explore boundless potential, and to unearth a pathway to live in purpose, on purpose.
Sarah’s helping students find their own connections to body, mind and soul – join her on the mat for a heartfelt practice!
Yoga has been a part of my life since I was in my teens – I explored various different styles, before falling in love with vinyasa. I took the plunge and completed my teacher training in Ubud and have been teaching since they day I landed back in Perth. Whilst teaching flow classes, my personal practice started leaning towards yin and a love affair began. This deep style allows you to completely soften into asana shapes, getting maximum benefit from your stretch AND offering total relaxation. I share a playful class suitable for all levels.
Can’t wait to see you on the mat!

Bridget is a trained ballet and theatrical dancer from Broome, Western Australia. She grew to love being active and on her feet and began dancing from the age of 6. She continues to teach to kids and adults of all ages in Perth and share the fun of dance. When she discovered Xtend Barre she was amazed and how much at home she felt using her passion for dance to achieve a full body workout. The distraction of looking like a dancer while in class not only gives her the motivation, but the enjoyment of such a unique and fulfilling class. She loves to inject fun and energy into all of her classes so expect to be moving and grooving the entire time!
